The steel truss point-supported glass curtain wall utilizes a truss support structure, comprising chord member, vertical web members, and diagonal web members. The tension and compression of the truss members and the net structure leverage the material's tensile and compressive properties to resist loads.

The cable-stayed glass curtain wall is supported by a flexible stainless steel cable structure rather than a rigid truss structure. The point-supported full glass curtain wall, connected by cables, utilizes a pre-stress double-cable structure that is typically designed to be symmetrical. This design accounts for the need of the curtain wall to withstand both positive and negative wind pressure. In positive wind pressure, the load-bearing cables become stability cables in negative wind pressure, while in negative wind pressure, the load-bearing cables serve as stability cables in positive wind pressure
